I try to make our holiday a fest...You are so right! I try to make our holiday a festival of light, music, good food and fun. But, alas, kid(s) = mess. And even now, after mine have been living on their own for a quarter century, almost, I still have their 'stuff', or some of it, in storage. And so did my mother have mine. Jim's mother packaged all of his stuff up and gave it to him. We have had a box of Boy Scout memorabilia hanging around in the basement for years.
